Trocheck Wins Olympic Gold Medal
Congratulations to Pittsburgh Predators alumni, Vincent Trocheck of Team USA and the New York Rangers, on winning the gold medal vs Canada at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan. Vince was an inaugural Pittsburgh Predator in 2001-2002 during our first season. As a Predator, he was a PAHL AA Season Champion in addition to winning a Silver Sticks Championship. Vince finished the Olympics with 3 points, +1 rating, and was elite in the faceoff circle, winning 66.7% of his draws. He was tied for second-best among all players in the tournament, winning 38 of 57 faceoffs, and played a key role for the U.S. in their gold-medal performance on the PK.
